Professional Teaching Team of Biological Technology and Application

Among 14 teachers in the department of Biological Technology and Application, there are 9 full-time teachers and 5 part-time teachers from enterprises. It boasts of 3 associate professors, 5 lecturers, 2 assistant lecturers, 1 teacher with PhD degree, 7 with master degrees or above, 1 with bachelor degree and 7 double-quality teachers. Among part-time teachers, there are 3 researchers, 1 associate professors and 1 registered vets. The team leader is Zhang Jiang who is an associate professor senior animal husbandry with more than 10 year relevant industry working experience.

At present,there are 3 municipal-level excellent courses being constructed and 2 college -level excellent courses in this department. The teaching team has participated in composing more than 10 vocational courses, and also chaired or participated in 3 projects from Ministry of Agriculture, 1 project from City Agriculture Commission, 2 projects from Municipal Science Committee and 1 project from Municipal Technical Supervision Bureau. What’s more, the teaching team has obtained 2 projects from National Agricultural Vocational Education in the "Twelfth Five Year" scientific research and 2special scientific research funds for outstanding young teachers. 12 college-level teaching scientific research and horizontal cooperation projects are also included. At present, there are more than 10 projects being conducted and totally 30 academic papers published.
