Sino-Indian Cooperative Program
The program of Sino-Indian Cooperation is an academic and research collaboration between Shanghai Vocational College of Agriculture and Forestry (SHAFC) and Lovely Professional University (LPU).
Lovely Professional University (LPU), having its campus at Jalandhar-Delhi G.T. Road, Phagwara, Punjab, India-144411, is established through enactment by the Legislature of the State of Punjab and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) the statutory body of Government of India and offering various undergraduate, postgraduate & doctoral programs.
The Memorandum of Understanding has been signed by both sides on December 4th, 2019. The scope of collaboration on academic and research activities in this Memorandum of Understanding includes the following categories:
1) Developing research projects jointly and avail funding;
2) Exchange of academic information, materials and facilities;
3) Students Exchange;
4) Faculty Exchange;
5) Organizing/participation in joint symposium, seminar, conferences, workshops etc;
6) Developing articulations for twinning/joint programs and allowing students to undertake part of the programme/course of study at each institution; and
7) Promoting such other activities/programs as mutually agreed from time to time.
At present, the main direction of Sino-Indian cooperation program is trying to recruit a suitable number of students from LUP to study at SHAFC as exchange students.
