On March 29, the Department of Smart Agricultural Engineering and Xinyi Plant Protection (Shanghai) Technology Co., Ltd. carried out a school-enterprise activity and led 151 students and several teachers to Langxia Town, Jinshan District for practical teaching of plant protection drones.
The course is divided into theoretical class and practical training class. On the theoretical class, Jin Hailin, General Manager of Xinyi UAV Company, explained to the students the global advantages of Chinese UAVs, the Shanghai Aviation Defense Report, and the Smart Agriculture Platform, and shared his experiences about UAV plant protection. On the practical training class, Deputy General Manager Guo Lufeng and plant protection UAV instructors led the students into the field to conduct basic flight and route operation training, and assessed their performances.
This practical teaching enables students to experience the practical application of drones in plant protection more intuitively. The combination of theory and practice played a positive role in promoting the improvement of students' professional skills, enhancing their sense of serving agricultural modernization and rural revitalization, thus contributes to the cultivation of innovative talents that understands agriculture, loves the countryside, and loves farmers.
